Leuprorelin Acetate 3.75, 7.5 mg

Leuprolide is a GnRH agonist used for the palliative treatment of prostate cancer, uterine leiomyomata, endometriosis, and central precocious puberty.

For Injection - One Month Depot

Central Precocious Puberty: SC: 7.5 mg every 4 weeks; titrate as needed. Lower starting dose of 3.75 mg every 4 weeks also effective.
Endometriosis: SC: 3.75 mg every month for up to 6 months.
Prostate Cancer (Advanced): SC: 7.5 mg monthly.
Uterine Leiomyomata (Fibroids): SC: 3.75 mg every month for up to 3 months (in combination with iron).

• Injection site reactions including abscess (37%)
• Emotional lability (19%)
• Acne/seborrhea (13%)
• Vaginitis/vaginal bleeding or discharge (13%)
• Rash including erythema multiforme (12%)
• General pain (12%)
• Headache (11%)

Corifollitropin Alfa: Avoid combination.
Indium 111 Capromab Pendetide: Avoid combination.
Contraindicated drugs: Amiodarone, anagrelide, arsenic trioxide, artemether, artemether/lumefantrine, citalopram, disopyramide, dofetilide, dronedarone, eliglustat, escitalopram, fluoxetine, ibutilide, iloperidone, lopinavir, lumefantrine, mifepristone, nilotinib, paliperidone, pimozide, procainamide, quetiapine, quinidine, sotalol, tetrabenazine, thioridazine, toremifene, vandetanib, vemurafenib, ziprasidone.

Store at 2 - 8 °C (in the refrigerator) in the carton to protect from light. Do not freeze. Keep out of the reach of children.
